1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the DomusSpace iOS application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DomusSpace is a personal home inventory management application that allows you to:

  • Record and organize household items by location
  • Use voice input to quickly log item locations
  • Search for items using text or voice
  • Scan QR code labels to identify storage containers
  • Sync your data across devices via iCloud

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use DomusSpace. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

4. No Account Required

DomusSpace does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App. The App assigns an anonymous, non-identifiable session ID via Firebase Anonymous Authentication when you first launch it. This ID is not linked to your identity in any way.

We do not offer third-party login (such as Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In). Your data belongs to you and stays on your device and iCloud account.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Premium Subscription

DomusSpace offers a Premium subscription with the following plans:

  • Monthly: Billed monthly, auto-renews each month
  • Yearly: Billed annually, auto-renews each year

5.2 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated before purchase. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5.3 Billing

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Subscription prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

5.4 Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until that date.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Data

You retain full ownership of all content you create in DomusSpace, including item names, descriptions, photos, and notes ("User Content"). We do not claim any rights over your data.

6.2 License to Us

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality (e.g., syncing via iCloud, AI image processing).

6.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to use the App to store or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with the App
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription or credit systems

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights, are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The results of using the App will meet your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services including Firebase (for anonymous session management), Google Gemini API (for AI image processing), and Apple CloudKit (for data sync). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
